If you take the practical test
on a 125 cc machine you will be restricted to riding a
machine with less than 33 BHP for 2 years, the L-plates come
off, you can carry a pillion passenger and you can use
motorways. After 2 years the power restriction is lifted
automatically, and you will have an unrestricted licence.
To give you an idea, most four stroke 250cc twins or 350cc
singles would come the below 33 BHP limit, two strokes of
the same size would probably be over the limit. These are
rough guidelines and you will need to check with the
manufacturer to be sure.It is possible to fit power
restrictor kits to larger machines to bring them down to 33
BHP.
We can tailor the training to suit you, either per hour or
per day using our bikes or your own. |
Costs
We charge £25 per hour using one of our bikes, which
includes bike hire, insurance and any equipment needed.If
you ride your own machine we charge £20 per hour.
You can use our bikes to take you practical tests at a
cost of £40 per test. This price includes bike hire,
insurance (third party only) and any equipment needed. You
can also pick the bike up early to get in some practice. |
